TO BIBU 2026 WITH VINTERGATANS BIBLIOTEK!

Experience "Vintergatans bibliotek" (The Milky Way Library), a sensory performing arts experience where we expand the idea of what a library can be, feel like, sound like – and how other stories can take shape and new encounters arise.
During the biennial, children from adapted schools in Helsingborg, the national and international performing arts sector, as well as regional library professionals, will have the opportunity to experience "Vintergatans bibliotek" over three days.
"Vintergatans bibliotek" is presented at BIBU as part of the project "Biblioteket som spelplats" (The Library as a Stage). During the biennial, a seminar will be held in collaboration with BIBU and the Centre for Children’s Culture Research at Stockholm University, in which Kollaborativet participates.
The concept was created with support from the Swedish Postcode Foundation within the project "Nära dig och Vintergatan" (Near You and the Milky Way – Participation in Cultural Life Where You Are and Want to Be).
